Imposter syndrome often affects returners as they re-enter the workforce, leading to feelings of self- doubt, low self-esteem and self worth. Despite their skills and accomplishments, returners may question their value after time away, overlooking the unique perspectives and strengths they bring.
Participants will come away with a personalised toolkit to navigate moments of self-doubt, reframe negative thought patterns and embrace a growth mindset so they can step into their careers with clarity and self-assurance..
RECRAFTING YOUR PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY
Workshop 3
This workshop helps returners redefine and present their professional identity in a way that highlights their unique strengths, transferable skills and achievements, creating a compelling narrative that aligns with their desired career path.
Participants will also receive best practices to refresh their Linkedin profile and CV, creating impactful headlines and professional summaries that showcase their skills and accomplishments..
BUILDING YOUR EXECUTIVE PRESENCE
Workshop 4
This interactive workshop empowers returners to cultivate executive presence – a crucial skill for influencing and making an impact at work. Participants will explore the core characteristics of executive presence, strategies for communicating with gravitas, and practical ways to build self- confidence. Returners will come away with practical strategies to command attention in meetings, present ideas with clarity and navigate workplace dynamics with confidence and authority.
DEVELOPING YOUR PERSONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Workshop 5
Having a diverse and supportive network is key to navigating the journey back into the workforce. Developing a group of trusted advisors with expertise in different areas, can help foster meaningful connections, gain valuable guidance, and uncover new career opportunities.
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the distinct roles of sponsors, mentors and coaches, and how each can contribute to professional growth. You’ll also identify the individuals who can form your personal board of directors and discover strategies for building authentic, mutually beneficial relationships to support career development.
