We have a fantastic opportunity for a Software Engineering Manager to join our Adobe Experience Manager team based in Bucharest.

The AEM Cloud Manager engineering team plays a crucial role in enhancing AEM’s user experience. They develop a product that significantly impact the efficiency and quality of AEM projects by streamlining deployment processes and ensuring consistent code standards. We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager that have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also develop a team of engineers. As a Software Engineering Manager, your responsibilities include leading all aspects of project engineering objectives, influencing product strategy, engaging in direct customer communication via Slack or Teams, and assisting in the growth and development of your team. We believe that, in addition to hiring the best talent, a diversity of perspectives and ideas leads to the creation of better products.
What you”ll do:
- Demonstrated people management and leadership skills with consistent track record of mentoring and coaching team members.
- Experience leading an engineering team on projects with technical deep-dives into code and setting technical direction.
- Experience with coding in one of the following languages: Java, C/C++, Scala, Go, Python or another relevant programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Accomplishments in delivering high quality products or services within timelines.
- Extensive experience crafting and implementing services or large-scale distributed systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and prioritization skills.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
