We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our Adobe Experience Success team based in Bucharest.
Are you ready to rethink Experience Management and transform your SEO knowledge and takeaways into groundbreaking software? How hardworking are you about helping customers solving real-life problems unlocking the value that matters to them?
In collaboration with a larger distributed team of product and engineering experts, we build new AEM capabilities striving to deliver outstanding website performance, traffic acquisition, and user engagement.
Your team will lead and develop customer-facing SEO-focused strategies that transform manual operations into efficient and automated software.
What will you do
Hire and directly lead a team of engineers to discover traffic trends for AEM customers by analyzing meaningful data from various sources. Be in charge of comprehensive technical SEO audits and improve strategies to optimize crawl-ability, index-ability, and search rankings, demonstrating insights for future automation.
Learn with your team which recommendations to establish from these trends. Understand the efficiency and impact of these recommendations against well-established critical metrics. Lead customer discussions, presenting clear recommendations that align with business goals, while staying up-to-date with industry-wide trends and innovations.
Turn team findings into solid hypotheses that will be meaningful at wider customer scale. Automate these hypotheses into self-learning software features with goal to improve website performance, SEO and user experience.
Lead and mentor providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth. Foster deep engagement with our customers and out of the box thinking.
At any time, challenge your and our beliefs. Be ready to prototype, iterate fast upon feedback and data, throw away and restart as much as needed.
Interact with Customers and Stakeholders on a high frequency. Ability to quickly prioritize, and an acute sense of urgency.
Participate in the design and review of features, technology choices, architecture, designs, time and budget estimates, and test strategies.
Develop and evolve engineering processes and collaboration models to optimize team efficiency and collaboration
What you need to succeed
BTech/MS or similar in Computer Sciences,
Demonstrated experience managing or leading development teams through full product delivery cycles, especially monitoring and keeping a service within SLA
Ability to understand business context and requirements, strong customer focus
Proven experience in motivating, inspiring, and growing team members.
Understanding of technical SEO, including crawl-ability, index-ability, schema markup, and page performance, with hands-on experience using SEO tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
Experience or familiarity with page rendering, web application client-tier technologies including HTML and JS, CSR/SSR/SSG. Cloud exposure: AWS, Azure
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a proactive, collaborative approach, growing in fast-paced environments.
