The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Program Engineering Manager to join our Adobe Pass team based in Bucharest.

Adobe Pass is a well-established product suite targeting the TV Everywhere industry. We operate our products at scale and have significant North American customers in our portfolio; we cover all major events in sports, business, lifestyle, and more. This new role complements our autonomous, dedicated team that drives and crafts the next products in Pass’ portfolio. You will be able to help a few brilliant engineering teams see products through inception, development, and delivery!

What You’ll Do

  • Support portfolio/program leaders (directors, managers, leads) in co-creating and implementing a Lean program process structure & cadence.
  • Support engineering teams in developing/evolving an effective team
  • Engage with our customer to understand their roadmaps and timelines, aligning multiple groups toward a common goal
  • Support engineering teams in continuously improving practices by applying agile methods and techniques on operational fitness metrics.
  • Partner with various teams to identify the highest impact opportunities and propose roadmaps and OKRs that strive to deliver a product vision that aligns with engineering capacities.
  • Assume overall delivery responsibility for large cross-functional projects and lead end-to-end from inception to delivery.
  • See our products get delivered in a timely manner to our customers and rollout plans are kept on track
  • Report on the status of quality, operations, support, and system performance to management.
  • Leadership and communicate well with various product managers, engineering managers, and team members.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience practicing portfolio and/or program-level management in large engineering organizations.
  • Confirmed experience practicing Agile with a software development team.
    3+ years of enterprise application support, process improvement, and program management experience within enterprises with geographically distributed teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Robust analytics & discernment are essential.
  • Good knowledge of Agile and Lean frameworks and industry-standard software development methodologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ability to think end-to-end, strategic problem solver.
