The Opportunity

If you’re looking to deliver impactful user experiences for a market leading solution, to some the world’s largest companies all while working with top engineers then this opportunity is for you!

Working with Data Engineers & Architects, Software Engineers, Marketers, Product Managers, and the Adobe Experience Design team you will engineer scalable e-Commerce systems for our core Merchants and Partners customers.

We use unified engineering and devops practices to build services with end-to-end ownership in mind, by integrating into the larger Adobe eco-system of platforms and services.

What you’ll Do

Work with engineering teams to design, build, test and maintain systems and solve complex experience management operations and automation challenges.
Review and collaborate on features, technology, architecture, designs, time & budget estimates, and test strategies. Inspire and encourage solution teams to build reliable and scalable services.
Keep pace with the evolving technology trends in software development and operations to take advantage of the industry trends and translate them for Adobe.
Identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for the team (deployment, management and visibility of our services) and ensure a high level of value, productivity, quality and reliability.
Participate in an on-call schedule.
Adopt a Lean approach to software engineering using a Kanban practice and close collaboration with local and remote teams.
What you need to succeed
Knowledge of Java and familiar with Java development concepts and practices.
Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations.
Familiar with a variety of the cloud and automation concepts, practices and procedures.
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms and their concepts.
Experience in container technologies like Kubernetes, and Docker.
Experience in automation and Observability technologies like NewRelic, Grafana, Prometheus or similar is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area and 3+ years’ experiences.
Prior knowledge of Adobe Commerce development is a huge plus.
