The Challenge
Changing the world through digital experiences is what Adobe’s all about. We give everyone—from emerging artists to global brands—everything they need to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Be part of the Adobe Cloud Platform (ACP) and enable collaborative, cloud-first workflows for creatives around the world.

ACP is the cloud platform for many Adobe Products, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Fresco, Illustrator, XD, the Document Cloud and more. It operates across multiple regions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. As a member of a multi-functional, self-organizing development team you will architect, develop, deploy, and own internal tools and services that allow to reliably ship, operate and analyze the ACP team’s public services.

“You build it, you own it!”.

We are looking for self-directed and team-oriented colleagues. This position requires a healthy dose of initiative and flexibility in a very dynamic environment. You will be working with multiple agile teams located in Hamburg, as well as collaborate with development teams in the USA and India. In addition, you will also engage in internal and external communities of interest to drive learning and cross-team standards.

What you’ll do
As part of a multi-functional team, you design, build, run and optimize the tools and platform that ensure a smooth and safe flow of changes from development to production and measure their effectiveness
Set a high standard of quality, robustness, and security in code and the development process
Follow secure and compliant development principles
Promote a culture of continuous learning
Work with engineering and infrastructure teams inside and around ACP
Share responsibility for the mission-critical microservices that the ACP team owns
Work to bring evolving methodologies and standards into the platform and the engineering processes

What you need to succeed

Deep understanding of distributed and scalable cloud systems, ideally on AWS or Azure.
Good programming skills, and a desire to automate all the things.
A passion for observability – monitoring, alerting and analysis using tools like Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana
Dedication to team-work, self-organization, and continuous improvement
Proficiency in English, good knowledge or ability to learn German
Additional skills which would be great
Experience in automation, analysis, and data engineering using languages such as Python and SQL
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in building RESTful web services, ideally in Java based on the Spring framework.
Understanding of large-scale NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra
