Job Description Summary

Identifies and develops key account alliances and relationship programs crafted to produce sales opportunities. Recruits, develops and manages strategic partner alliances/partnerships and opportunity pipelines and ensures the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of accounts. Evangelizes company products in conjunction with recruiting key alliances/partnerships. Evaluates program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management. Works toward mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance. Provides for financial analyses, long-range forecasting and analysis studies associated with potential alliances/partnerships. Supervises programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance. Monitors competitor activity in accounts and implements strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.


Job Description

This role helps our global and regional partners build and deliver successful solutions that drive revenue using Adobe’s Commerce solution. You will support our partner sales team in the field as we work with the direct sales organization and help our implementation partners with standard methodologies in Adobe Commerce implementation and build a growing partner ecosystem. In this role, our “customer” is the Adobe partner who will implement solutions using our platform. This is a senior solution consultant position and requires a technical background in commerce solutions and experience in front of C-level audiences.


What you’ll do – Build a positive relationship with existing partners by engaging in joint business development activities, providing assistance during the sales cycle, building joint solutions, and maintaining a track of the overall sales objectives and product strategy.


The key areas of your role would be:

Partner Enablement. Deliver Adobe Commerce value proposition through presentations and hands-on exercises to strategic partners. Development and communication of technical standard methodologies to partners, Solution architecture definition, POC, and demo development for partner opportunities. Act as a liaison to Adobe internal product management for access to early release programs and product roadmaps.


Product Positioning. Align with partner managers to deliver product messaging in an effort to demonstrate Adobe’s value proposition. Develop and deliver product positioning messages using a variety of tools and techniques.


Product Integration: Identifies product integration requirements and works with partners to develop approaches for crafting solution visions that demonstrate our ability to integrate into customers’ existing environments. Makes recommendations on integration strategies, platforms and application infrastructure required to efficiently implement an Adobe solution.


Product Technology Evangelism. Works with Adobe partners and their prospects to educate them on the overall architecture and operation of the Adobe Solutions.


Technical Objection Handling. Identifies key solution technical objections. Develops a strategy to resolve each technical objection and implements the strategy to remove technical impediments to partners closing Adobe sales transactions.


Success Metrics

Success would be measured by building Partner Solution Offerings, developing joint pipeline with partners in the region, and securing Partner Influenced Revenue.


What you need to succeed

Experience in pre-sales and audience-based marketing, eCommerce solutions, strengths and weakness across multiple market solutions
Good experience with eCommerce and Digital Marketing solutions
Experience on other Adobe Experience Cloud products is good to have.
Experience with Business Requirements definition and management, structured analysis, process design, use case documentation
Strong presentation skills and Solutions selling skills
Conversant in enterprise product, solution and technology strategies with the ability to convert current knowledge and skills to the Adobe Commerce solution
Ability to work independently and communicate across teams with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
As much as 30 percent travel may be required.
Education- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree- technical or computer science degree preferred.
