The Challenge:

 

We are looking to hire a highly motivated and driven Site operations Manager for our sites in UK&I. The position will be reporting to Director of Site Operations in EMEA and will be responsible for 9 sites and an operating budget of approximately $18million per annum. The SOM, UK&I will be responsible for managing aspects of workplace and employee experience and  productivity including space requirements, facilities management, employee engaging events and amenities at the office. The leader will also be managing a large vendor workforce and associated financial metrics, sustainability initiatives. We will encourage the incumbent to develop innovative practices and take appropriate risks to discover path breaking solutions in the field of office management. Return to work post Covid and FoW will be immediate projects to be led at the sites

 

What you’ll do:

 

Act as the primary point of contact for all Global Workplace Solutions (Operations, Real Estate, Projects) at the site and be responsible for annual budgets.
Develop, articulate and fulfill the GSO vision for the sites.
Lead and support the local post Covid return to office and related future of work activity
Develop deep business relationships to be able to proactively address space and services issues.
Direct, manage and provide oversight to all of our site vendors; including our outsourced facilities management, food service and wellness teams.
Manage all aspects of the financials including budget adherence and the ongoing forecasting of operating expenses and capital projects.
Manage the site “experience”;  balance customer centric mindset with operational excellence in the delivery of all site services: including Wellness, break rooms , Shipping/Mail, etc..
Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to the business core activities.
Site level M&A integration, consolidation and/or closures as needed
Drive improvements in and execute the sustainability strategy.
Implement and coordinate GSO initiatives, programs and site councils at the site level.
Contribute to the development of the real estate and site services strategies.
Act as owner’s rep for all projects across the site; ensure the business and operational requirements are met, with great cross functional communication.
Establish occupancy strategies, planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises.
Establish and execute on metro level strategies for operations, projects, occupancy and business engagement.
Partner with Employee Experience (HR) and IT to address any opportunities or issues regarding the employee experience.
Partner with Global Safety and Security team on Incident management, emergency response & safety.
What you’ll need to succeed:

 

For this role we need a Team player with a naturally collaborative style and excellent Relationship Management skills; you’ll also ideally have experience of/in:

Vendor Management
Financial Management
Project Management
Event planning and execution
Analytical and problem solving skills
Public speaking and good communication
Adept in MS Office (Word, excel, power point) and social media usage for collaboration
