As a confirmed Employee Relations/Labour Relations/Works Council and staff representative authority, you will establish a Works Council strategy for EMEA, initially focused on the countries where we have existing arrangements in place.
Your principal responsibilities will be to oversee our existing French Works Council and to support the establishment of new Works Councils on other EU locations should this arise.
You will be part of a wider EMEA Employee Relations Consultant team who engage cross-functionally across Adobe to resolve complex employment matters giving direction, guidance and input on policies and practices, partnering with key collaborators throughout the business. You will interact with various levels of management and be a key partner among the EMEA Employment Law team, HRBPs, Centres of Excellence and the rest of the Employee Resource Center (ERC).
What you’ll Do
Develop a Works Council strategy for EMEA and plan for a selection of key countries.
Lead the Works Council relationships in EMEA to include determining the applicable procedure, drafting/supporting with presentation decks, preparing and leading the topics/meetings, handling expert audits if any, leading the Works Council committee.
Own the election process and effective engagement of elected and/or appointed representatives; negotiate on collective agreements and key employment-related collective initiatives in partnership with the Employment Legal team and drive improvement and ensure best practice processes in relation to Social Dialogue
Own and lead the economic, social, and environmental database (BDESE and support in the implementation of new or modified policies in region (i.e. compensation, benefits).
You will also have the opportunity to participate in projects, regionally and internationally, as well as supporting individual ER issues.
What you need to succeed
Deep familiarity with all Employee Relations aspects of French employment, which includes a number of years of experience in running relations with Works Council and staff representatives in France
Experience of Works Councils in other EMEA countries is desirable
Experience in providing guidance in implementation of reorganizations, M&As, individual involuntary terminations, performance management and investigations would be advantageous
Highly effective communication skills and influencing skills, including effective listening, questioning skills, presentation and persuasion. Able to use data effectively to inform decisions and drive action.
Demonstrable experience in dispute resolution

Business fluency in English and French are required, other languages are a plus.
