The Opportunity
Adobe’s Finance team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial/Data Analyst to provide financial and business partner support for its Digital Media business. This position will provide cross-functional engagement that will enable and influence key decision making. You will support FP&A processes through data modelling and analysis to provide recommendations to senior management, driving strategic decision making.
What you’ll Do
Drive data science modelling initiatives for financial forecasting and analysis across all ARR walk items with focus on Attrition/Retention
Drive quarterly/annual budget planning and provide strategic/tactical support in formulating annual operating plan
Ensure accuracy of the models and conducting scenario analysis to derive range of outcomes
Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills and drive data-based decision making while telling the story behind the data
Forecast, track, monitor key business drivers, prepare analysis to explain anomalies, lead the resolution of issues by working across cross functional teams
Build impactful visualizations on top of large/sophisticated datasets to effectively communicate trends & drivers to executive leadership
Develop presentations, weekly/quarterly reports and detailed analysis to summarize key business conclusions for management on annual recurring revenue (ARR) and up-funnel customer metrics such as traffic, trials, conversion, usage and retention.
As a valued business partner, collaborate with the management team in developing both long-term Strategic Plans and short-term Operating Plans
What you need to succeed
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in English & German with the ability to handle the message at all level (from juniors, to peers to senior management)
Ability to quickly learn a new business and flexibility to adapt to evolving objectives and situations.
Expert level competence with finance and analytics systems such as Tableau, TM1, Power-BI, Python or similar as well as a proven understanding and experience in complex environment is critical for success in this position
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, business or Statistics
Strong business and financial competence to quickly understand complex business
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to complete multiple, high-priority projects with a keen attention to detail.
Proven teammate with ability to deliver results with the least supervision
Flexibility to support US time zone
fluent German language skills are mandatory
