Professional Services SEA Team

Professional Services Team is the executors of any deals signed between GBG and clients.

PS Team is very customer focused, often requiring heavy discussion with clients to understand their request and requirement and how best GBG products and be configured to fulfil these requirements.

Professional Services Team will work with clients for the entire duration of the implementation project. Once the project has been implemented and successfully went live, the on-going support will then be handed off to GBG’s Customer Service Team.

The Role

The role of the Senior Technical Analyst will be to contribute to the successful deployment of GBG products and consulting for high customer satisfaction with existing customers.

The role will involve end-to-end implementation of GBG fraud products in client environments, from understanding and building business knowledge of the existing GBG products to executing the delivery and installation of these products. A key part of the role will be ensuring our solutions are delivered to high standards of innovation, quality, and excellence that delight our customers.

What you will do

Work closely with our clients to deliver world-class fraud and risk GBG solutions. This may consist of responding to customer queries, providing consultancy on the correct usage of the system and fraud strategies, liaising with different business and technical teams for issue follow-up, and identifying and suggesting best practice improvements.

Configuration, training, and documentation
Work closely with our clients and internal team members to document business requirements, and specification documents, provide product training, and configure business-related rules and other solution functionality. This may also consist of responding to customer queries with business answers with minimum technical language.

Technical Support
Technical Product Delivery Support during different stages of the project. Provide Installation and Go Live Support for the customer.

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated proficient experience in System analysis in an Information Technology environment.
  • Demonstrable work experience in:SQL Server Database applications including performance tuning (Database design would be an advantage)
  • Software solution onsite implementation and system integration experience
  • Software solution and network structure design experience and hardware knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and solutions including Windows Server and its components (for example, IIS), SQL Server and its components (for example, Service Broker), .NET framework, Web Applications and Services, Windows Applications and Services. Also, knowledge in software development, mainly using Microsoft technologies with open standards such as XML, JSON, Angular, CSS.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating system, networking and communication
  • Ability to analyse and interpret business scenarios and/or data, with the ability to identify business and functional requirements
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of system implementation projects preferably within financial services industry and/or fraud risk management or compliance areas.
  • Proactive attitude to the identification of solutions to address customer requirements and win – win solution
  • The ability to effectively facilitate work sessions with technical project teams and business stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to work on/manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English is essential
  • Be a reference to get accurate estimates of work for professional services in improving business rules, business training and product fine-tuning to accommodate to business needs.
  • Create business documentation and diagrams from scratch, propose solution innovations and drive product improvements based on customer feedback and industry trends
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-managed and proactive, comfortable working in an environment with constant changing of priorities and tasks
  • Act as a role model and provide guidance and training where required for other team members.
  • Flexibility with traveling
