About the team
Identity Fraud (IDF) EMEA delivers the largest contribution of revenue to GBG, and you will be part of this talented team of individuals who continually look to exceed client expectations through expert advice and industry best practice.
The role
This key role involves managing bid/tender proposals for new and existing customers, ensuring submissions are compelling, accurate, and timely. In addition, you will also handle follow-up questions and all due diligence questionnaires.
What you will do
- For individual bids/tenders, manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring compliance with internal governance procedures and external customer timescales, this will include but not limited to:
- Review of Tender Response Documents.
- The need to edit and revise responses generated to ensuring:
- o Questions being responded to in full across multiple areas (product, data, commercial, Infosec etc.)
- o Complying with specific word counts.
- o Ensuring response meets the evaluation scorecard to achieve maximum results.
- Managing virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, product teams, finance, legal, delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement through post bid reviews internally and externally.
- Monitor and identify tenders to respond to which meet GBG’s product offerings and services.
- Submit all responses to the tenders via the relevant response channel.
- Register for the relevant portals and manage all the communications.
- Be aware and register for all the various Government frameworks with support from commercial (G-Cloud, DRS, T-Pas etc).
- Managing the full process of creating and executing bid/tender proposals for both new and existing customers, including handling follow-up questions.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders associated with the bid process to create accurate, timely, high-quality bids.
- Maintain and update a content library or knowledge base (including key questions, processes, certificates etc.) to ensure all bids consistently position GBG as the industry leader and shine the best possible light on its solutions, addressing compellingly all RFP requirements and getting across USPs that may not be part of the buyer’s requirements.
- With the Sales team, build relationships with the buyer’s procurement team during RFIs to influence the evaluation criteria and evaluation process of subsequent RFPs.
- Keep improving the quality of our responses in both substance and form, liaising with our research team and sales team to always build competitive differentiation in our responses.
Seek detailed feedback for successful and unsuccessful bids, share and implement key lessons (on process, content, and form) to keep improving our win rates. - Explore new tools to help with the creation of compelling content as well as with its dissemination.
- Support the sales teams in preparing compelling and differentiated customer presentations post submission.
- Respond to and liaise with other teams in the completion of due diligence questionnaires.
- Strive to win them all.
Requirements
- A high level of literacy with experience writing different types of submissions e.g. sales proposals, technical proposals.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to create compelling communications.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
- Ability to work both independently and in a team in a deadline driven, dynamic environment.
- Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to edit the work of, critique and give constructive feedback on the work of colleagues.
- Can build and maintain good working relationships across the business and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage various stakeholders in a project management environment.
