The Team

GBG GO – GBG GO is a product that seeks to be the front to various GBG services and offerings, as such it is considered an important system both in its development and in its daily operation. This strategy now has exec approval to deliver the capabilities for FY25.

The Role

The role of a Scrum Lead is to facilitate the agile delivery teams by coaching principles such as self-organization, self-reflection and incremental delivery of our products.

The role will also focus on cross team collaboration, innovation, and encouraging adoption of techniques that promote adaptability and flexibility in the face of unpredictable circumstances.

What you will do

Coaching the Scrum team on self-organization.
Facilitating scrum ceremonies as needed (daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning etc).
Helping the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog.
Ensuring the team understands the product’s vision & goals.
Keeping organization especially stakeholders informed on the scrum team’s progress.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For

Relevant experience working as a Scrum Lead
Knowledge of Agile Methodology & practices
Experience in running PI Planning meetings.
Ability to track risks & dependencies between inter-project teams and reporting on progress,
Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
Strong problem solving & analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and assisting scrum team in removing impediments.
Adept at inter-personal relations especially in running retros and coaching team on amicable conflict resolution.
