The role is critical in ensuring that we meet and accurately report on our project delivery commitments. The role will provide a central focus for management and coordination of smaller projects whilst providing support to the senior project managers on large projects. The role is an excellent introduction for any candidate wishing to develop further their career in project management at GBG.
What you will do
Full project lifecycle management of Medium to large sized projects including responsibility for maintain all project controls and documentation
Capable of delivering medium size projects from start to finish
Support Senior Project Managers in delivering large scale projects
Administrative duties as required for project management, Planning project resources
Budget management – ensuring proper funding and monitoring cost
Identifying, recording, mitigating and managing risks and issues
Monitoring and Reporting progress to appropriate governing bodies/stakeholders
Support and direct the team to successful delivery within scope, on time and to budget
Change Management – implement and manage change to meet project outcomes where necessary
To help you be successful, we’re looking for…
Strong communicator – written and oral – accurate, to the point, respectful
Meeting facilitator skills and meeting support – able to run own meetings but also provide support when required
Proficiency in Project Management tools such Microsoft tools such as MSProject, Excel, Word, Viso, Powerpoint, Sharepoint and Teams
Project Management qualification or equivalent
Experience as a project manager
Experience in strategic planning, risk management, change management and/or budget management
Conflict resolution experience
