You will be reporting to Lead Software Engineer. the candidate will be responsible to automate the testing based on the requirements delivered from the business, ensuring that functionality of the system developed in-house is fully covered in the automation test suite to meet the high standards of quality expected by the business.
What you will do
Actively participate in a team based agile ceremonies and work closely with software engineers and product owners.
Create, maintain, deliver and document manual and automated test suites built to validate the specification at multiple layers of application to a high standard.
Create and review test acceptance criteria for all tasks during sprint planning/ grooming.
Reduce risk through clear analysis of designs & stories, tailored reporting and clear line management and stakeholder escalation.
Identify and manage defects within project with a view of preventing customer facing issues.
To help you be successful, we’re looking for…
Good understanding of Test Analysis and acceptance criteria process
Understanding of TDD or BDD framework (Gherkin language)
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium/ Cucumber etc.
Experience with SOAP API (ReadyAPI/SoapUI)
Experience with functional test, and integration test (is a must).
Experience developing the automation scripts for end to end scenarios and maintaining the automation suites.
Experience with setting up the test automation framework, test process would be an advantage. Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions. Hands-on experience with Non-functional testing such as Performance (Jmeter), Security etc., would be an advantage.
