Reporting into the financial controller we are looking for a qualified senior management accountant to join the financial control team.
What excites you
Ensuring complex month-end journals are calculated accurately and on a timely basis, including deferred revenue, deferred commissions and IFRS 16 leases. Collaborating with other teams including billing and management reporting.
Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed monthly with variances being resolved on a timely basis and documenting processes and controls.
Assist the annual audits by ensuring requested documents are provided in a timely manner, demonstrating controls and conducting walkthroughs
Ensure ONS surveys are completed
Supporting the Financial Controller / Head of Finance as required
Assisting with finance projects (IT implementation, process & controls improvement, etc.) as required
What excites us
Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA (1-3 years PQE), with several years experience in industry
Advanced excel / google sheet skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Experience with multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations
Continuous improvement mindset and not afraid to ask the question “why”
Strong IFRS knowledge
Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting packages
Team player but ability to work independently
A self-starter who will own processes from start to finish with a view to improving efficiency, productivity and financial control
