Job Summary

As a VAT Specialist you are responsible for preparing tax returns and applicable extensions and tax estimates. You will assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provisions and related financial reporting tax components; participate in tax planning, tax audit and support.

Job Requirements
•    Responsible for accurate reporting of EMEA region VAT filings and reporting obligations
•    Engage and collaborate with the finance function, key business unit stakeholders, and invoicing systems teams to provide guidance on VAT issus
•    Liaise with external auditors and advisors
•    Assist with process improvement projects
•    Effectively plan, manage and prioritise work to timely and consistently meet objectives of multiple or competing priorities and projects
Education
•    Minimum of 2 years experience in a Big-4 firm or multi-national company with VAT compliance responsibilities
•    Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant designation preferred
•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a solutions-oriented and problem-solving focus
•    Experience with MS Office, SharePoint and Oracle preferred
