Our Business Development Teams have a pivotal role within Okta to drive revenue and expand our market reach. This exciting opportunity will see you identify new business opportunities from inbound leads provided by our marketing teams in our Emerging segment. You will establish strong client & cross functional relationships to achieve your targets and strategic objectives.  You will take ownership of building a pipeline of prospective customers and qualifying opportunities for the Okta Solution.

Our Dublin office is home to most of Okta’s Business Development Teams and renowned for its collaborative and diverse culture. Our clear career pathway in sales can see you reach your career goals and take ownership of your own performance from day one in line with our high performance culture.

Your responsibilities will be:

Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Emerging teams pipeline
Exceed monthly and quarterly quotas of qualified opportunities
Accurately track prospect interactions and information in our CRM system
Effectively manage customer and cross functional relationships
Expertly respond to and qualify inbound leads
Conduct significant conversations with senior executives to identify their needs
Evangelize Okta
The Ideal candidate will have:

Fluent English and German
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Naturally curious and persistent
Self motivated with a drive to overachieve
Ability to work in a team environment, where collaboration is key
Excellent time management & organisational skills
Prior lead generation or prospecting experience an advantage
