As the RVP for Financial Services for Slack in the UK, you will be responsible for driving sales growth for Slack (the largest Salesforce acquisition to date) across the UK’s most significant financial services organisations.
As a First Line Sales Leader, you will be managing and developing a team of senior Enterprise Sales Executives. You will participate and lead in client and prospect meetings as well as work cross-functionally with stakeholders as required. You will be responsible for ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new team members on the sales process.
Set and execute an exciting financial services customer acquisition strategy to generate strong annual growth in revenue and bookings
Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding Slack’s customer base
Manage the sales team to drive and close strategic/complex deals in the enterprise segment
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
Manage overall sales process, setting appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
Plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
Establish trusted relationships with key corporate teams across Salesforce including industry marketing, product development, product management, and recruiting
Align and coordinate product, customer success, and services teams to deliver incredible success for our customers

Who you are:
Exceptionally strong business and technology acumen. You understand the social, economic and technology trends that are shaping the world of work, and you can succinctly articulate a vision for how Slack can make a meaningful and highly differentiated contribution to the success of our customers.
Minimum 3 years (5+ year would be preferable) of sales leadership experience managing a team of quota carrying account executives
Industry experience in financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets) is preferred
Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing enterprise sales organization
Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers
Proven success working within a matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
Experience leading comprehensive pipeline generation strategy and execution
Strong operational and analytical abilities
Strategic enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement selling complex enterprise software offerings, including at the C-level
