About the role:
If you are an up and coming field marketer who loves getting in the thick of it, being hands-on with fast moving and emerging territories in EMEA – this is the role for you. The work will be varied and could include anything from building and sending emails for your market through to running events in it.
You will be responsible for building pipeline and then driving the marketing plan for these emerging territories with the support of the EMEA Scale Marketing team as well as your sales stakeholders. You’ll have an aptitude and passion for multi-channel marketing, you will need strong knowledge of the EMEA cultural marketing landscape, you should be able to demonstrate excellent organization and planning skills and are expected to execute marketing initiatives with agility, speed and a customer-centric mentality.

In this role, you will:
Own and scale marketing activation in the Benelux area.
Build a sustainable and repeatable marketing model to then take to other emerging territories.
Be exceptionally structured and organised.
Manage marketing programmes, projects, budgets, and timelines.
Work with third party vendors (e.g. event and creative agencies and online platform providers) to create compelling experiences and business outcomes for our internal and external customers.
Ensure continuous learnings are captured, giving visibility to the different stakeholders involved in the program.
Use creative and innovative approaches to solve programme and organizational challenges.
Be the voice of EMEA marketing in these emerging markets and be a stakeholder to sales and other cross-functional teams.
Understand the need for local marketing and localisation.
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.
Minimum requirements for this role:
Ambitious self-starter with a demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done; a “owning it”. personality who has the ability to drive process improvement while maintaining agility.
Experience in B2B technology marketing either from agency or vendor side with specific field marketing experience.
Strong drive for results, with the ability to manage independently and take calculated risks.
Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
A willingness to travel (as needed).
Ability to work autonomously and without supervision.
Ability to work in a fast moving and pressured environment.
Ability to communicate and build successful relationships at all levels.
Exceptional planning, organizational, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate others and build relationships.
Must be able to demonstrate an understanding on the different cultural dynamics across the European region.
