Your Role as Senior Account Executive

  • As a Senior Account Executive in our Enterprise Market segment, you will be the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic key accounts. You will:
  • Own and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and aligning them with the full Genesys CX portfolio.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles to secure net-new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity plans using MEDDPICC methodology within a motivated vertical sales team.
  • Generate a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and strategic prospecting.
  • Coordinate and orchestrate cross-functional teams—including Presales, Professional Services,
  • Customer Success, Technical Account Management, and Renewals—to ensure smooth sales cycles and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Act as a leader within virtual teams, driving collaboration and winning complex deals.
  • Take full revenue responsibility and consistently meet or exceed your sales quota.

What We Expect From You

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management and business development, ideally with 8+ years in professional sales.
  • Expertise in selling complex software solutions, preferably within Manufacturing and Retail verticals.
  • Strong network and relationships within AWS, Salesforce, and ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Exceptional customer orientation and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with fluency in German and English.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, team player with resilience under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required.
