Genesys is hiring a professional for a Sr. AE Sales role in the Enterprise Market team for Automotive & Utilities to address respective markets with our CX portfolio. At Genesys, our Sr. Account Executives are the catalyst behind the growth and success of the company and carry responsibility for all sales opportunities across the Enterprise business segments. In this role you act as a consultative sales professional, take ownership for dedicated key accounts (5-10 accounts), position the full Genesys solution portfolio, develop and manage a sales pipeline, secure net-new business and drive revenue growth in a defined key account setup. In co-working with other Account Executives as well as a Sales Leader & Coach you will learn from experienced Genesys Employees as part of a verticalised Sales Team.
The Sr. Account Executive’s main goal is to achieve an annual sales target together with their AE colleagues by converting as many key account opportunities into won business as possible. Once an opportunity has been closed, the Account Team’s role is to engage with the appropriate internal cross functional team (PS, CSM, TAM and Renewal Team) to help manage the initial phases of post-sales support and ensure the implementation is set up accordingly.
What we look for and expect from the right individual is:
- Bringing in, developing and maintaining relationships with key account clients
- Being part of numerous complex and consultative sales engagements
- Selling complex software solutions to Automotive and Utilities clients or similar industries
- Jointly developing account and opportunity plans based on MEDDPICC in a motivated vertical sales team
- Generating sales driven pipeline by having a strong outbound/outreach cadence on weekly basis
- Orchestrating a cross functional team and partner ecosystem
- Identifying customer/project demands and mapping to the Genesys portfolio
- Being a team player and a leader of virtual teams, able to orchestrate and win complex sales cycles
- Taking revenue responsibility and carrying of a sales quota
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, business, Business Administration, Marketing or similar education
- From 5 to 10 years professional sales experience – ideally Key Account Management and Hunting
- Verticalized Experience in the ecosystem of Automotive and/or Utilities
- Enthusiasm for customer service and customer experience management
- Maximum demands on the quality of your work as well as a high degree of sales and customer orientation
- Strong relationship into the AWS, Salesforce and ServiceNow network and organization
- Committed, proactive, team-oriented and stress-tested
- Self-assured appearance and pronounced presentation skills
- Very good rhetorical skills and communication strength
- Fluent in English and German
- Strong success orientation
- Willingness to travel frequently
