About The Role & Team

At Amplitude, we’re on a mission to allow product and growth teams to systematically harness the power of data to build better products. This role will focus on renewing and expanding customers in our corporate segment. We need a Commercial Account Manager with 2+ years of experience in renewals and expansion for client companies of 1-1500 employees. This person will own and manage a book of business, driving evaluations from early stages to close, and managing complex customer relationships in the DACH and BENELUX regions.

As a Commercial Account Manager, you will:

  • Lead renewals and growth strategy, commercial conversations and accurate forecasting within an existing book of business
  • Become an expert on Amplitude’s product and conduct discovery calls, customised demos, and presentations with client executives
  • Effectively sell the value of Amplitude to key stakeholders within the account; pitch how Amplitude delivers ROI to the customer and is an integral part of their growth strategy
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business needs of your customers
  • Collaborate well with internal resources including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success
  • Handle order form drafting and working with deal desk for expansions and renewals as required
  • Exceed quarterly and annual targets

You’ll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • 2+ years of SaaS selling experience in renewals and expansion
  • Experience delivering customer business reviews and driving renewal and expansion conversations
  • Ability to tell a story using data
  • Problem-solving mindset and positive attitude towards the change that comes with working at a rapidly growing startup
  • Experience running POCs and mutual close plans is preferred
    Ability to work and thrive in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
