The Opportunity
Come join us in the Adobe 3D & I division to work on Adobe Substance 3D Assets. You will work on a small but consistently growing agile team of engineers operating and enhancing our online 3D Asset Marketplace. Your team’s work will range from enhancing the customer experience when searching, evaluating, and downloading 3D assets, adding support for new asset types and file formats to making sure the platform operates resiliently with a high uptime. What You Will Do
Work in an agile team to build a scalable and secure service and own multiple features of the product.
Evaluate the current architecture, determine risks and opportunities, and come up with proposal for mitigation and improvement.
Extend our capabilities for selling 3D assets online.
Design, develop, deploy, integrate and support our 3D Assets Marketplace using the DevOps model for all types of devices.
Use your superior technical skills to coach junior members of the team.
Perform research on various technologies and define architectural improvements. Build prototypes or core features.
Drive adoption of new technologies and contribute to continuous increase of technical knowledge across engineering teams.
Understand the product principals and customer base and drive the definition of a truly internet-scale & web-forward architecture.
What You Need to Succeed
5+ years of practical experience developing Web products.
Strong computer science background (data structures, algorithms).
Fluent in at least one OOP programming language (experience with C++ and / or Typescript is a big plus).
Excellent knowledge of OOP, data structures and design patterns. Demonstrated passion for continuous development – CI/CD.
Knowledgeable in modern web frameworks, pub/sub systems, and technologies such as GraphQL, MongoDB, Redis.
Understanding of 3D concepts (meshes, materials, transforms, etc.), and 3D authoring applications.
Experience with OAuth 2.0, as well as with Purchase & Ordering Web Systems represents a plus.
Committed to the highest levels of quality, experienced on test automation (Unit testing, Integration testing).
A sharp eye for security related issues and performance bottlenecks.
Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking.
