Women in Tech Forum offers a wide variety of content for individuals and organisations alike, with the aim of uniting similar minded people to support women in tech. Our content ranges from live events (featuring impactful guests), to informational articles that cover broader events from around the world. Please see below some examples of what we do, and maybe consider joining the community to keep up to date with the world of Women in Tech.

Championing Women (Article) –

For International Women’s Day 2021, we put together five articles based on the key IWD themes. You can read the full article by clicking the image to the left, or you can check out the excerpt below.

Today the 8th of March marks International Women’s Day 2021 and what a better day for men to choose to challenge and to champion women in the workplace and beyond. Male allies are “members of an advantaged group committed to building relationships with women… understanding the social privilege conferred by their gender and demonstrating active efforts to address gender inequalities at work and in society (HBR 2018)”. By this definition male allies are a part of an advantaged group that are aware and actively seeking to put right gender inequalities that occur throughout the whole of society, whether in a workplace or at the comfort of one’s home. This short piece will look at how male allies can stay aware, reflect and challenge unconscious biases and simultaneously understand why it is critical to promote and champion Women everywhere.”

Women Networks (Video) –

Along with our series of articles for International Women’s Day, we clipped up a variety of best bits from our interviews with successful women in tech.

In this clip, Adobe’s Claire Darley discusses her role models, mentors, and wider networks who helped her guide her career. She also shares a great example of two women who directly inspired her to achieve success and how you can find these figures to guide your career too.

Megan Stollery, Greenfield Field Marketing Manager, UK & Emerging Markets, Adobe

“Adobe’s partnership with Women in Tech forum, has provided employees with a safe space to engage with inspirational women inside and outside of their Adobe network. The partnership has also enabled us to deepen our relationships with clients by extending the programme externally through facilitated roundtable discussions and meetups, which have been extremely well received. It has been a pleasure working alongside Angie and her team over the past year, their dedication and collaboration is breath of fresh air. I look forward us collaborating even further for FY22.”

Louise Rossiter, EMEA Recruitment Lead, Slack

“Women in Tech forum is our go-to resource at Slack to help female colleagues build the confidence, support and leadership skills to take their career to the next level. The monthly webinars are so inspiring and always a great opportunity to learn from senior role models and connect with likeminded people. Moving to a virtual platform has enabled us to roll out the program globally and to showcase Slack as an employer of choice, committed to diversity and inclusion.

For anyone looking to improve employer branding or connect female talent, I’d highly recommend partnering with Women in Tech Forum."

Amplitude

“Diversity and equality are at the very heart of Amplitude and from the ground up we have proactively built an inclusive workplace environment for everyone. That is why our European team has partnered with the fantastic team at Women in Tech forum. Partnering with the Women in Tech Forum enables us to give back to our amazing female cohort and drive sustainable DEI strategies for future generations."
