Although the industry has made some progress in recent years, tech remains a male dominated industry with less than 17% of the European tech workforce being women and people of colour.

For true change to happen, diversity, inclusion and belonging should be embraced at every level of an organisation. 

The evidence shows that when men are deliberately engaged in gender inclusion programs, 96% of organizations see progress — compared to only 30% of organizations where men are not engaged. 

Becoming an ally means recognising the advantages, opportunities, resources and power you have access to, and using this to advocate and personally support women and other marginalised groups to help them advance their career.
