How To Own Your Success

November 24 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Members can access the dial in details on the member resources page.

Do you struggle to claim your achievements at work?

Do you get passed over for promotions and wonder what happened?

Do you expect others to automatically notice your contributions and reward you accordingly?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are not alone. One of the most commonly cited reasons for being passed over for a promotion is the lack of visibility of the great work you’re doing and that you are actively looking for your next promotion.

Often, we can downplay our achievements in an effort to avoid being perceived as arrogant, overly confident, or not a team player. We assume that our great work speaks for itself and that our managers and people around us know about our successes.

Yet, not owning your achievements or minimising your successes can hinder your ongoing career development, signaling that you’re not committed or hungry for the next step.

Being successful at your role requires more than just participation, it also means being proactive about showcasing your performance and achievements. This demonstrates that you know your value, recognise your success and are ready to rise to the next step.

In this interactive, virtual panel discussion, we will be speaking to senior female leaders who have successfully owned their success and taken control of their career. This session will be packed full of real-life experiences, lessons learned and practical tips that you can start implementing right away.

Meet our panelists:

Jane Dobson | Consulting Sales Director, Oracle
Lauren Walker | Managing Director, Accenture Interactive
Elizabeth Hajjar | Senior Sales Director Northern Europe, Highspot
