Secrets of Confident Communication

May 25, 2022 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Confident communication is all about speaking clearly, making eye contact and knowing all the answers – or is it?

Carol Benton, business communication consultant and author, will explore what it really means to communicate with confidence – the confidence that your message is going to be received, understood and actioned.

Carol will explain the three key goals of business communication, and focus on the single biggest secret to making your communication effective – speaking your customer’s language. She’ll look at some of the ways people and companies ‘speak the wrong language’ when communicating, and finish with five practical steps that you can take to ensure that you can communicate with confidence.

The talk will be followed by a panel discussion with Tamsin Minton, Head of Women in Technology and EMEA Break Fix Service Delivery Manager at NetApp
