Squiggly Careers: navigating non-linear career paths

February 22, 2023 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The traditional linear career path is a thing of the past. No longer do we have a job or an industry niche for life.

Previously, organisations had mapped out clearly defined career paths and we worked with our manager to secure our next promotion. With roles becoming more project based and the rapid adoption of automation technologies, our roles are constantly changing.

More and more, we are finding ourselves moving between industries, job functions and blending career breaks so that we can design the life we want to lead, with purpose and impact.

In this interactive fireside chat with senior tech leaders who have successfully ‘squiggled’ , we’ll explore what it means to have a squiggly career path and how you can develop the transferable skills that will help future proof your career and give you fulfilment in work and in life.

We’ll be sharing strategies and tools to help you:

  • Take control of your career
  • Identify your super powers
  • Build the transferable skills to support your squiggly career path
  • Develop the confidence and self-belief to make career pivots.
