Adobe Photoshop team is looking for an engineering manager to lead the development of its core engine that powers the Adobe Photoshop on the Web, iOS, Android and many other platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who holds high technical standards and is passionate about building engineering excellence by bringing people together.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a high-performance core-engineering group of developers and architects.
Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineering teams in Digital Imaging group and the rest of Adobe to create the technical vision and road map for the team.
Define and drive the best software development/engineering and operational practices for the team.
Mentoring people, helping them grow, and develop their careers.
Providing oversight, accountability, and leadership for technical decisions with a bias for action.
Be well versed in emerging industry technologies and trends and communicate that knowledge to the team and use it to influence product direction.

Requirements:

B. S/B. E. /B. Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent engineering degree.
Extensive knowledge of c++ application development in Windows/Mac/Linux
Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design and performance.
10+ years of software development experience on mobile/desktop/server applications.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Most importantly, an ability and curiosity to solve non-trivial problems and a passion for continuously evolving the implementation with latest advancement
