Identity Services is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of its engineering squads. If you are passionate about software security and web development and are equipped to lead a team of super-smart software development engineers, then you are the right candidate.
Your mission will be to lead the development for the Adobe’s authentication and authorization services. You will be responsible for one or more services that are critical to Adobe’s business, with an SLA of 99,99% (which translates into ±1 minute per week of downtime). Your team will consist of 8 – 10 engineers initially.
What you’ll do
Responsible for the system’s uptime and development life cycle within the team
Management and execution against the project plan and delivery commitments
Keeping your team motivated, performing appraisals for the team members
Stay in close contact with Product Management, User Experience, System Architects
Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and solutions
What You Need to Succeed
BS (Bachelor of Science) or MS (Master of Science) in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in different development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and ability to balance the advantages of each approach in practice.
2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, leading and/or working on teams that build complex web applications.
Demonstrated ability to build a diverse team of top engineers in a competitive job market.
Strong working knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns.
Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to partner teams and stakeholders.
Strong customer empathy and demonstrated engagement with customers and partners to truly delight users.
Experience with OAuth 2.0 and other security protocols represents a plus.
