The Opportunity
Adobe Experience Manager Sites Engineering team is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help build and operate DevOps services that lead Digital Business transformation for the best known brands and organizations worldwide.
Our Cloud Service makes our customers focus on crafting better customer experiences instead of planning for product updates, since they always have continuous access to the latest experience management innovations to create, handle and deliver personalized experiences to growing audiences. Automation and infrastructure-as-code experience is a key building block of an ideal candidate.

You have a track record as a SRE in large-scale SaaS businesses, and a strong desire to implement initiatives and systems to enhance reliability, availability, security, and privacy. You are familiar with DevOps and other Agile methods. You thrive solving problems in real-time under pressure.

What you need to succeed
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with consistent track record in DevOps or SRE roles of increasing scale and complexity (2+years)
Deep understanding of both software engineering and technical operations
Strong programming skills, particularly with Java, JavaScript or Go
Experience implementing Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, etc. in Azure or AWS
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic and Splunk
Practical experience with cloud native services in caching (Redis/Memcache or equivalent) & web delivery/proxy (CDN, nginx/apache)
Experience with common network protocols (TLS, TCP, HTTPS, DNS, SSH, SFTP, FTPS)
Experience with open source software desired (eg. Apache Software Foundation)
Familiar with a variety of the cloud and automation concepts, practices and procedures
Assist in the creation and refinement of operational documentation
Manage our uptime and performance using service level indicators and objectives
Participate in on-call pager rotation
