The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to contribute at delivering
impactful features and user experiences for a market leading solution! Together with the engineering team you will have full ownership on the technical side of the product from design/architecture to release and monitoring in production.

What you’ll do
Analyze large data sets and use machine learning models and algorithms for them
Understand data driven web applications (data jobs, REST services)
Develop, test, and run data processing jobs
Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages, as part of an agile engineering team working on new products
Transform the business requirements into feature specifications
Research on various technologies useful for the project and keep in touch with the evolution of the industry
Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team
Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team

What you’ll need to succeed
Passion about computer science, developing software & internet applications
Experience with Machine Learning algorithms, preferably written in python
Good understanding of web design patterns, APIs and REST concepts
Knowledge of software life-cycle, source control tools, DevOps principles
Being adaptable to a dynamic environment, loves to experiment, become proficient in new technologies
Committed to the highest levels of quality, puts focus both in testing and code development
Very good problem solving skills, initiative and self-managed

Bonus skills:
Experience with web applications development
Experience with Spark data jobs
Experience with cloud services platforms such as AWS or Azure
