We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Engineer to join our Adobe Target team based in Bucharest.

Adobe Target is the Optimization Engine for Adobe Experience Cloud. Adobe has dozens of petabytes of data to manage and bring value to our customers.  The Adobe Target provides state-of-the-art capabilities for custom, optimized algorithms for offering next best content or product suggestions based on industry and touch points. We use Big Data and open source technologies to develop various services for Adobe Solutions, Customers and Partners.

What you’ll do:

Ability to comprehend Customer issues and resolves them without difficulty.
Partners with cross functional experts (Product Management, Design, etc.) to determine customer focused solutions.
Leads application/framework/service design efforts, optimizing for quality, testability, and scale.
Uses appropriate & relevant programming languages and technologies, writes code, tests & deploys to meet business requirements.
Communicates clearly with the team and management to define & achieve goals.

​What you will need to succeed:

5+ years of experience designing and developing web or software applications
Proven expertise in Java, OOP Principals, clean Design and Design Patterns
Knowledge of REST and strong expertise with REST clients
Experience of Web & Mobile debugging proxy tools like Charles
Strong Javascript debugging skills including but not limited to SPA technologies
Hands-on with Javascript, ReactJS, NextJS, GraphQL & CSS and working knowledge of web development technologies
Working knowledge of JSON and XML
Ability to debug remote Java applications

Nice to have:

Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
K8S debugging knowledge
