Our engineering team is responsible for building the Adobe Experience Platform. We help thousands of customers collect, manage and synthesize petabytes of data with high fidelity and velocity. We help them make sense of that data, glean insights and run algorithms, so they can deliver delightful experiences in real-time, every time. What you’ll do
Transform the business requirements into feature specifications
Design and implement new features, APIs, unit and integration test suites
Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages, as part as an agile engineering team working on new products.
Research on various technologies useful for the project and keep in touch with the evolution of the industry
Improve your technical and team working skills
Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team
Work with real-time data processing and streaming techniques and workflows
Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
What you need to succeed
Strong CS background and passionate about computer science, developing software & internet applications
Proven track record of software development experience
Deep knowledge of Java technologies and frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
Experience in building SaaS products and web services (REST, SOAP)
Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services.
Understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools, DevOps principles and best practices.
Being adaptable to a multifaceted environment, exercise good judgment about which tools to use and when to use them
Loves to experiment, ability to research and become proficient in new technologies
Strong sense of ownership and track record of quality work
Understanding of operating and maintaining highly reliable services
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desire to work in a fast paced environment
Good English language knowledge, both written and spoken
Working with Kubernetes
Knowledge of Scala, Kotlin and/or Go
Working with Message Queues (e.g. Kafka)
Experience with cloud services platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS).
Experience with relational databases (e.g PostgreSQL)
Experience with testing and cost optimizations
