The Opportunity
The Observability team in Adobe Experience Platform is building scalable, performant services and tools to get insights on AEP Customers’ metrics and to offer monitoring and alerting capabilities for AEP Engineering Teams. For this we need your help. If you already have expertise in developing on top of the JVM platform (Java, Scala, Kotlin), know how to build applications and web services at scale and you are interested in learning new technologies, we would be very interested in talking to you to explore a possible collaboration.
Requirements
Computer Science degree and 7+ years of relevant work experience
Strong understanding on developing, architecting and running SaaS type of products
Excellent understanding of OOP, Functional Programming, software life-cycle, source control tools
Proven ability to research and become proficient in new technologies
Experience with cloud services platforms (AWS and Azure)
Experience with Java Virtual Machine related languages and technologies
Knowledge in both building but also operating a service: CI/CD deployments, monitoring and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk), Kubernetes-based deployments, infrastructure as code and provisioning tools (Terraform)
A sharp eye for security related issues and performance bottlenecks
Agile / Scrum project management methodologies
Passionate about computer science, developing software & internet applications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Good English language knowledge, both written and spoken
