The Challenge

 

Reporting to the EMEA President and a dotted line to the Global Head of Partners and Alliances, this role will have responsibility for leading and managing a world class, partner organisation for our DX Enterprise business across EMEA.

This is a highly visible senior leadership role within the fastest growing region in Adobe. This executive should thrive on driving both strategy & execution – leading the team developing a cohesive and cross-functional roadmap for strategic business partnerships that accelerate the company’s long-range goals.  Some of the most critical partners we work with are Accenture, IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte, Dentsu, WPP, Publicis, Capgemini and AWS.

 

What you will do:

Create, own, implement, and drive the overall strategy for Adobe’s EMEA partner ecosystem in collaboration with the Regional Enterprise MD’s.  Offering a breadth of external experience, knowledge and thought leadership across the entire partner ecosystem, including Agencies, System Integrators (SI’S), OEM, and Software & Technology Alliances.
Develop a holistic partner organisation while establishing robust relationships with targeted new and strategic partnerships.
Adopt a direct and hands on approach for the delivery of revenue, bookings, and pipeline generation for the region.
Drive cross-functional support and alignment working across Adobe functions (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Product, Enablement) to ensure clarity of task and deliverables needed to scale the Partner strategy and programs.
Influence global strategic direction, within our complex matrix model, and act as a thought leader with primary responsibility for developing and executing innovative strategies to achieve Adobe business objectives in EMEA in collaboration with the Global leader as well as the North America and APAC leader.
Manage the DX regional & SC partner leaders with geographically dispersed, partner managers to develop and drive the corporate strategic relationship including solution identification and development, go-to-market plans, sales engagements, marketing and collateral, and partner agreements.
Develop new initiatives, assessing new markets, and analysing net-new business opportunities.
Understand market and cultural environment as it relates to Partners and Alliances: key drivers, barriers to success, competition, etc.
Lead the partner sales team to acquire new and significant partners and customers across the region.
Facilitate Adobe’s field and partner organisations for alignment and collaboration on complex customer facing deals to establish Adobe as the stated or de-facto vendor of choice.
Lead and manage hiring, attrition, productivity, morale, resource allocation, team motivation and training, across this geographically dispersed team.
Play a key leadership role on the EMEA Leadership Team which defines strategy and drives execution for the overall region.
What you’ll need to succeed

Leadership at Scale – Experience managing complex businesses and sales organisations, in complex matrix environments. Has managed matrixed organisations and held direct responsibility for sales targets.
Partner and Alliances Leadership – Experience developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with major global, EMEA, and regional partners. The successful candidate will have driven and defined an effective partner strategy for EMEA across an entire product portfolio.
International Track Record – Proven success in leading and developing a geographically diverse and multi-faceted team. Evidence of scaling highly accountable organisations rapidly with success. Deep understanding of EMEA/global markets and owning sales and pipeline targets across region
High Performance People Leader – Experience leading and developing a high performing regional team with a track record of engaging and growing diverse talent to greater success.
Be a Change Agent – ability to successfully drive and embed change/transformation and diversity of thought.
