The challenge

Are you interested in bringing digital transformation to Consumer Industries (Retail & Consumer Goods)?

The Industry Strategist role will be the custodian for our Point of View (POV) for Digital Experience across EMEA’s Consumer Industries vertical.

You will use your domain knowledge and experience to help our teams engage clients, craft impactful industry go-to-market positioning, messaging, and support our sales teams to be more effective.

You will work within our Digital Strategy team and build an inspirational future for our industry customers. Additionally, you will have access to the resources available within Adobe to support these efforts.

 

Industry Positioning

Build and continually improve Adobe’s point of view for our Digital Experience business unit for Consumer Industries across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Work closely with our customer-facing field teams to scale customer insights and value cases into Adobe’s overall value proposition for Consumer Industries
Provide insight and thought leadership internally to Adobe executives, Field (pre-sales, sales, account management), Support (marketing, training, PR, analyst relations) as well as our product marketing and engineering teams
Establish strong executive relationships with Adobe’s clients through select engagements, credibility, and experience in the Consumer Industries space
Find opportunities and recommend approaches to scale our industry influence and messaging (both internally and externally)
Industry Evangelism

Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate industry expertise at critical customer meetings
Increase awareness of our leadership within Consumer Industries through thought leadership (e.g white papers, blogs, speaking events, and roundtables)
Build internal and external communities (e.g executive events, practitioner roundtables, internal boards) that help develop Adobe’s footprint within Consumer Industries
Industry Enablement

Drive the Digital Experience for Consumer Industries agenda through the development and management of a portfolio of Consumer Industries Use Cases that illustrate specific business challenges and how they can be solved by Adobe solutions
Build and deliver industry-specific enablement training and assets to improve our Field / Sales capabilities as they engage with customers and prospects
Work with our sales organization to support robust account plans and strategies by scaling account level assets and insights and the latest industry trends
What is needed for success

Meaningful experience (min 4 years) at a Consumer Industries organization’s marketing or customer experience functions or at a world-class management consultancy
Experience in crafting digital experience or marketing strategies along with a high-level understanding of the technologies and tactics needed for execution
Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape (familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud is a plus) and the ability to stay current on the changing market
Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, marketing, partner, business development, product marketing, and product management)
Executive presence and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including a talent for conducting research, analysing data, and synthesizing insights & recommendations
A high degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
Results-oriented approach, ability to take calculated risks, proven track record to align and influence partners
Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market dynamics
