About The Role & Team
Join us and help to build our next phase of growth across the EMEA South region. We are looking to hire a commercially minded and impactful, yet humble and people driven, Regional Sales Director (RSD) to lead our Corporate business (<1500 employees) covering (UKI + Nordics).
As a Regional Sales Director, you will take a hands-on approach in building and scaling your teams and ultimately be responsible for helping us to hire, onboard and lead the next wave of sellers. You will also drive success across a team of New Business and expand Account Executives across the SMB (<100 employees) and Commercial segments (100-1500 employees).
Reporting to the Vice President, EMEA you will help us establish and navigate success across your region, as we continue to rapidly scale our Field teams for 2022 and beyond. The ideal candidate will already be a successful Corporate sales leader, with a passion for getting things done and who thrives in a very fast-paced environment – and who will relish scaling our business and growing a region. You will also embrace, embody and lead with our core values ever present: Humility, Ownership and Growth Mindset.
As a Regional Sales Director, you will:
Drive the strategy for hiring, on-boarding and training new AE’s and mentor them on best practices in selling Amplitude.
Build and develop a strong and diverse team of sellers.
Be responsible for your regional GTM strategy definition and implementation.
Understand the core metrics of both new business and expansion business, and use them to forecast the performance of your region.
Support in coaching and executing key deals via onsite (when viable) and remote engagement with customers.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure field marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and sales engineering are allocated appropriately for success.
Plan and communicate the path for growth per your region both in a formal annual planning capacity, and on an ongoing basis.
You’ll be a great addition to the team if you:
Have 2+ years experience of leading SaaS sales teams – ideally your experience is in the Big Data, Analytics, Mobile or MarTech space.
Are data driven and use metrics to understand how to mentor and be responsible for the qualitative elements of the business.
Love hiring and recruiting the best possible talent and you’re also passionate about building a strong, diverse outstanding sales team.
Know how to perform at scale.
Are passionate about getting hands-on with your sales leaders and team, to drive their success – you believe in and create a “servant leadership” style culture.
Have a track record of leading both an inbound and outbound sales motion and are a process oriented leader, able to fully implement and lead their business via chosen sales methodology (with preference for MEDDPIC).
Enjoy helping scale a high-performance SaaS sales team and identify and address the things we need to do in order to substantially grow the region’s revenue year over year throughout Europe.
