About the job:

Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller  based in Paris, you are responsible for the RTR (Record to Record) stream for the entire Group (25+ legal entities across 17 countries). Managing a team of 10 accountants based in 4 countries and supported by a network of external accounting firms, you are responsible for the General accounting, the production and reporting of financial statements for all the Group’s legal entities, in accordance with applicable local GAAP and IFRS.

What you’ll do:

●  Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings of all legal entities of the Group,  in line with IFRS accounting standards as well as local GAAP, and in a Smart Close framework (under implementation). Coordinate closing activities with peer Corporate controlling and Accounting teams.
●  Lead the RTR team (ca. 10 accountants), organized in a Shared Service model, and coordinate a network of external accounting firms, in order to perform general accounting activities in an efficient and timely manner.
●  Ensure strict compliance with all applicable Accounting standards. Monitor evolution of these accounting standards and deploy any relevant change.
●  Ensure all internal control procedures are performed diligently. Foster a strong internal control mindset in RTR and beyond.
●  Assist the external Auditors regarding all quarterly and annual audit requirements
●  Develop and improve RTR  systems and operational processes. Take an active role, as RTR  Business Process Owner, in the design and implementation of a new core finance ERP system (Workday Financials) based on standardized best practices approach.
●  Play an active role in the leadership team of the Corporate Controller organization, alongside other peer leaders (regional financial controllers, Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Reporting and Consolidation, Tax and Treasury)
●  Support the integration of acquisitions in accordance with Contentsquare’s process and policies
●  Assist the external audit team regarding all quarterly and annual audit requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

● Advanced Degree in Accounting – DSCG, Master CCA, DEC
● Proven track record  (15+ years) in leading  RTR operations, in international companies and ideally in a Shared Services environment with a global core model.
● French GAAP and IFRS are a must, US GAAP is a strong plus.
● Highly developed analytical and technical accounting skills.
● Demonstrated experience in People management in international context
● You must be able to speak English & French fluently, as you will evolve in a truly international environment
● Excellent communication and motivational skills, proven leadership and change management skills
● Ability, willingness and taste to work in a fast-paced global environment, to orchestrate work and meet deliverables under strict deadlines
● Focused on implementing best practices, with a strong continuous improvement mindset. Automation, simplification and rationalization are your motto.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience working in the Tech / SAAS sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in a listed company is a plus
