About the Role:

We are seeking an Employee Relations Partner to support our managers, employees and HRBP’s across the EMEA Region, (14 countries), in all areas of ER and Performance Management. In this role, you will work closely with the EMEA HRBP team, business leaders and Employment Legal team to focus on providing proactive (education and prevention) and reactive support in conduction investigations, discipline and grievance processes, and complex absence management/RIFs/exits up to and including termination (assist in providing inputs for any subsequent litigation as required). You will also help drive positive employee engagement by providing guidance and recommendations to resolve employee concerns. In this role you will report to VP, HR International (based in Australia) and will be part of a small direct team, who covering APJ region, and a virtual team in the US to establish a CoE and best practices globally.

You will have the opportunity to review, refine, and build CrowdStrike’s Performance Management processes, Disciplinary and Grievance, Absence Management (UK) and other related procedures and will play a key part in shaping its work and practices. By providing input into how we capture and analyse data to identify the root causes of ER issues, and drive proactive performance management initiatives.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong negotiating and counseling skills. You will have the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and maintain the highest level of integrity. The successful candidate will also be a creative problem-solver, able to pivot and change direction confidently to meet the needs of the business, and be recognized as a trusted advisor through in-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment legislation.

What You’ll Do:

Ultimately, this role will collaborate with EMEA HRBP team and ER COE to review, refine, and ensure alignment with CrowdStrike’s formal management procedures and processes, including contributing to the implementation of case tracking to provide meaningful insights. Providing consultation, coaching, training and problem-solving assistance to business leaders on ER strategies including;

Dispute resolution
Perf management
Involuntary terms
Discrimination
LOAs
Policy interpretation

In this role you will:

Partner with HRBPs to deliver performance management or other relevant training to people managers, on an ongoing basis
Communicate and counsel employees to resolve their issues
Conduct prompt and thorough investigations into sensitive employee relations issues, and make objective recommendations based on findings.
Foster effective relationships with HR teams, business leaders, and Employment Legal
Coach HRBPs and managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve moderately complex ER issues
Partner with team members to communicate and educate on policies, procedures, and compliance
Assist HR team and business leaders with restructuring, redeployment and redundancy matters
Evaluate and handle medical accommodation requests, including claims and appeals that may arise
Review and update policies and procedures relating to Conduct, Disciplinary, Grievance and Performance procedures as required.
Identify trends using data-driven insights and provide recommendations for improvement
Champion a strong continuous improvement culture to ensure the deployment of scalable, simplified and standardized processes
Participate in team projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5-7 years relevant work experience in performance management, ER, employment law, and/or HRBP experience
Solid understanding of employment law across UK/Ireland, Germany, France and Spain.
Understanding of employment laws in other European jurisdictions such as Italy/Switzerland/Austria/Poland/Romania would be advantageous
Basic understanding of employment laws in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia and Israel) are desirable
Experience building and scaling performance management processes
Experience handling a heavy case workload and complex cases that go on several months, whilst juggling multiple priorities is essential
Foundational knowledge of data collection, integrity and analysis
Experience collaborating with an international cross-functional team
Prior experience in a growing, face-paced software organisation preferred
