About the team

Our finance team is central to the success of the business. Our aim is to proactively drive business value through informed and insightful decision making. We work in partnership with the business and are agile and responsive to business needs whilst maintaining a transparent system of effective standards, processes and controls. To support this goal we strive to have the best highly engaged finance professionals in our team. We’re on an exciting journey, and we have the strategies in place to get us to our destination.

The role

This role reports into the Revenue & Billing Finance Manager and is an integral part of the UK finance operations team.

What you will do

  • Assist with the preparation of revenue and cost of sales for the monthly management accounts ensuring that they accurately reflect business performance and deal with Finance Business
  • Partner queries, across multiple Business Units and Functions
  • Assist with the transfer of data reports containing customer usage into the format required to process the billing
  • Help with the calculation and management of commissions
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and postings including accruals and deferred income
  • Assisting with audit queries
  • Review the tagging of revenue entries in the finance system to ensure the Business Unit, Product and other dimensions are accurately recorded
  • Providing support in other areas of the Finance Team
  • Ad-hoc projects and duties as guided by the assistant management accountants and your line manager


  • AAT qualification or equivalent is advantageous
  • Previous Accounts Assistant or finance experience is beneficial
  • Good communication skills
  • Confident in using Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills plus a high level of efficiency, happy to be given project work and see it through to completion with minimal of assistance
  • A highly motivated individual, who brings energy and confidence, is target driven target-driven and able to work as part of a team
