About the team

New Logo Team – Loqate

Loqate aims to ensure every business in the world can reach every customer in the world. We do this by combining innovative technology with the richest, most accurate global data sets, all delivered via a market-leading platform.

The New Logo team operates in a high performing, fast paced and customer centric manner to ensure we are acquiring new logos at pace. Our team function is pivotal to the success of the Loqate business. We have very ambitious growth targets, and we aim to be front and centre when it comes to delivering. You’ll be joining a team in which there is opportunity to grow, the chance to be creative and the ability to earn. We’re a friendly, supportive and collaborative bunch who love operating in an open, honest and transparent way. Although currently a small team of 4, we win big. Recent clients include Spotify, New Balance, Blockchain, Clarks International, Primark, Depop, Informa Group and Bet 365.

The role

Loqate traditionally delivers double digit YoY growth, with ambitions to accelerate. Key to this is the delivery of new logos into the business, so we’re looking for an accomplished new business professional who isn’t shy and is very comfortable owning and being accountable for their business.

This is an acquisition sales (hunter) role which will deliver Loqate’s “net new logo” business target from allocated market sectors across the UK/RoW. The role is predominantly field based, and involves self-generating opportunities via outbound communications, and progressing inbound enquiries to successful conclusion.

What you will do

Working closely with the Head of Acquisitions, the wider New Logo team and the marketing function, your key responsibilities will be:

Delivering New Business Sales Results

Ensure revenue and profit margin targets are achieved through a direct value-based solution sales approach across the full Loqate suite.
Provision of accurate and timely management reporting of sales forecasts, pipeline, platform and performance.
Understand and develop deep sector expertise whilst identifying organisations who will benefit from Loqate solutions.
Selling to new logo businesses but also establishing warm leads through collaboration internally and “Cross Sell” opportunities where other areas of GBG could already have a presence.
This sales role will be approx. 80% self-generated / 20% inbound.
Develop & deliver Sales strategy

Working collaboratively with Head of Acquisitions to review, execute and develop the Go to Market/ sales strategy.
Identify opportunities for the sale of Loqate solutions through pro-active self-generation of new business leads.
Build a pipeline, which should be minimum of three times the annual target given by cold calling, using LinkedIn, referrals, professional networks and other marketing activity to drive revenue.
Using Salesloft Campaign automation software to create and execute targeted marketing cadences.
Operate proactively at senior level within prospect accounts to provide maximum exposure and credibility in exploiting the opportunities identified.

What we’re looking for

Experience of consistently exceeding targets in a fast-paced, innovative software/SaaS sales environment is desirable.
Evidenced understanding of managing sales pipeline, including ability to self-generate and close business from cold calling.
Ability to deliver against stretching objectives.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, delivered in a confident, engaging and open manner.
Experience of address management software or tech background would be beneficial.
