The Team – Market Development & Pricing Teams

Following recent global alignment, this team has been created to provide market and proposition insight to GBG EMEA sales teams – enabling them to sell better and faster. The Pricing team was created in June 2023 and is a critical function within the Market Development Team. The Pricing team support the business to:

(1)    Optimise revenue growth through pricing menus, targets and governance

(2)    Accelerate new business, creating pricing strategies that maximise revenue

(3)    Launch new products with winning commercial propositions

(4)    Implement systems and processes that ensure pricing rigour

The Role

The Senior Pricing Analyst is a new role. It is a critical addition to the GBG EMEA team and will report into the Global Head of Pricing – providing local EMEA expertise with global support.

What you will do

Participate in the development of pricing of new products and propositions to shape and justify business initiatives
Create pricing governance rules and their implementation
Assist with pricing of largest deals to ensure more robust renewals
Maintain and update existing rate cards
Analyse data to monitor and investigate the performance of products
Analyse, implement and review price changes
Assist with large-scale pricing initiatives and pricing audits
Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Sales, Sales Operations, Product, and Enablement

What We’re Looking For

Commercial experience in pricing, ideally with B2B and/or subscription products, including experience pricing within other industries and of value-based pricing, setting list prices and discounting analysis
Ability to think strategically and work cross-functionally in a professional environment, including knowledge and experience in strategic pricing
Proven ability to plan and manage projects, delivering high quality results to planned timescales whilst keeping stakeholders updated
Excellent analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel, as well as experience in other Office applications, experience in SQL helpful
Initiative to create and develop improved pricing strategies
A good sense of humour!
