About the team

Our small Group Communications Team is responsible for crafting clear, compelling messages that resonate with our internal and external audiences. We build and maintain a strong culture and brand reputation through a variety of communication channels.

The Role

Reporting to our Chief of Staff, the Internal Communications Business Partner will plan and deliver corporate communications to inform, engage and inspire our global team as well as supporting our EMEA Identity Fraud and Loqate business units. You will also play a role in shaping the internal comms strategy and driving improvements to team systems and processes. Please note that we are open to candidates from either London or Chester for this position. We have offices in both locations.

What you will do

Advise and support Business Units on their own internal comms strategies
Organise local events within set budgets
Manage content and schedule for all global comms through existing channels
Global Kick Off – event planning, content and delivery
Create, deliver and evaluate internal comms plans for a global audience that will inform and engage staff
Manage and improve GBG’s existing internal comms channels including intranet, email and webinars
Support and train the wider GBG team on how to use and make the most out of our existing IC channels and advising on best practice
Digital content creation eg creating video, imagery
Source, ghost write, edit and copywrite content for internal channels, eg GBG news, customer news, content for pages
Work closely with internal stakeholders at all levels on internal communications
Support Pulse team (GBG’s social committee) on comms for UK events, charity selection and volunteering
Support comms for inclusion and diversity initiatives
Guide Internal Comms Coordinator’s workload, trouble shoot issues and contribute to their performance review
Use quantitative and qualitative data to continually adapt and improve our internal comms
Internal comms strategy planning
Train up other members of internal comms team on existing processes and procedures eg how to produce an All Hands, how to post on intranet, how to use MailChimp
Investigate new IC channels and platforms
Act as main internal comms contact for all central services teams and EMEA

What we’re looking for

Experience developing, improving and delivering new internal communications platforms eg social channels, intranet, email, MS Suite (eg Teams, Viva, Sharepoint)
Competent copywriter who can create content for a global audience
Experience working with stakeholders at all levels to advise, plan and deliver communications across multiple channels
Somebody who is organised and able to manage global internal communications calendar
A team member able to hit the ground running in a busy team
