About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner (PBP) to join our People team, working closely with ExCom members responsible for Product, Engineering and Go to Market providing essential support to managers across these departments. This role is pivotal in aligning our people strategy with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance culture. Success in this role requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional partners, including Finance and all members of the People Team, to ensure holistic support and alignment with Ogury’s goals.

What you will be doing
Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to ExCom members and senior leaders in Product, Engineering and Go To Market departments, collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop and execute people strategies that support departmental goals and align with the overall business vision.
Leadership Development & Coaching: Support managers by providing coaching, tools, and resources to enhance leadership capabilities, improve team performance, and address talent gaps. Work closely with People Team colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment in leadership development initiatives.
Organizational Development: Partner with department heads and Finance to design and implement initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, enhance productivity, and support growth within the Product, Engineering and Go To Market teams.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers within Product, Engineering and Go To Market teams to address workplace concerns, collaborating with People Team members to maintain a positive work environment and a culture of openness and respect.
Talent Management: Collaborate with managers to identify high-potential talent, create succession plans, and guide career development and performance management initiatives within the Product, Engineering and Go To Market.
Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to organizational restructuring, process improvements, and other shifts impacting Product, Engineering and Go To Market. Work in partnership with Finance and other People Team members to ensure smooth transitions and consistent messaging.
Workforce Planning: Collaborate with department heads and Finance partners on workforce planning to align talent needs with business goals, optimize team structures, and address any skill or capacity gaps.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Partner with the People Team to champion DEI initiatives, ensuring that the Product, Engineering and Go To Market foster an inclusive environment and actively contribute to Ogury’s DEI goals.
What you will bring to Ogury
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in a People Business Partner, HR Business Partner, or similar role, with experience partnering with senior leaders in fast-paced environments. Experience supporting Product, Engineering or Go To Market functions is highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) are a plus.
Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset, capable of driving people initiatives aligned with business goals and collaborating effectively across departments.
Strong ability to build strategic partnerships and influence at all levels to drive impactful business outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and work closely with senior leaders, managers, and key stakeholders such as the Finance and the People Team.
Expertise in talent management, leadership coaching, and organizational development.
Problem-solving skills with the capacity to address complex employee relations issues.
Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
