Senior Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Backend Team, focusing on the Demand Side Platform/Supply Side Platform. This role is backend-heavy, with minimal front-end responsibilities, and involves building and maintaining distributed systems at scale.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions and ensure the reliability and stability of our platform.
What you will be doing
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go
Build and optimize distributed systems to support high-volume, low-latency transactions.
Collaborate with stakeholders including full-stack engineers (ad rendering and performance), SDK, DevOps, and Product teams.
Ensure reliability and stability through well-defined SLIs and SLOs.
Participate in architectural discussions and influence long-term technical direction.
Engage in Agile ceremonies: 2-week sprints, daily standups, grooming, retrospectives, and reviews.
Monitor and maintain system health using Grafana and Prometheus.
Contribute to the migration from Redis to Valkey and optimize database usage (DynamoDB, SQL).
Work within the AWS ecosystem to ensure scalable and secure deployments.
Tech Stack: Go, Python, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, DynamoDB, SQL, Redis, Grafana, Prometheus & Sloth
About you
3–5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
Hands-on experience with Go or willingness to become proficient.
Knowledge of distributed systems and best practices for reliability and scalability.
Familiarity with SLI/SLO concepts and performance monitoring, memory and cpu profiling, caching.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across engineering, DevOps, and product teams.
AdTech experience is a plus, but not required (we’ll help you ramp up)
