About the role:
Samsara is building a best-in-class Enterprise sales team in Germany. We’re already well established in the region, with an office in Munich and a record-breaking mid-market sales team in place today. This new Enterprise team will build on their success by targeting large customers and signing multimillion Euro deals.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Specialist to support the launch of a new market for Samsara in close collaboration with other areas of the business.

In this role, you will:
Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
Discover customer processes and needs, translate that understanding to become a welcomed technical advisor to the customer
Successfully match customer pain points and requirements to proposed solutions
Establish customer relationships and trust throughout and beyond the sales cycle
Work in multiple levels of the technology stack
SaaS dashboard setup and advanced use
Manage custom reporting and integrations via our API
Custom reporting and integrations via our API
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
Fluent in German and English
Minimum 5+ years of customer-facing pre-sales experience in enterprise environments
Experience with Enterprise sales cycles or equivalent
Previous hands-on experience with customer evaluations and deployments
Consistent track record selling complex solutions
Well-versed in one of the following: cloud software, networking, automation, and control systems
Outstanding business communication and presentation skills
