About the role:
As a Samsara Partner Account Manager, you’ll build from the ground up a key component of Samsara’s indirect sales motion, starting from UK & Ireland primarily.
This is an entrepreneurial role in which you will be required to identify key commercial partners (e.g. resellers, referrals, …), onboard them, and enable to take Samsara’s Connected Operations platform to market, enabling Samsara to scale its core mission of increasing the efficiency, safety and sustainability of our customers’ operations.
The core activities in the role will include opportunity sourcing, relationship building and management from the C-suite down, program building and execution, marketing, technical and sales training/enablement, and data oriented practice development done in high-touch collaboration with Samsara’s largest channel partners.
The role is based in the UK and is remote friendly. However, travel is required to meet prospective partners and customers
In this role, you will:
Own the development and execution of partner programs, with a focus on:
Scope out the ecosystem surrounding Samsara’s customers
Autonomously source new partner opportunities
Own the partner application, evaluation and onboarding process for UK & I
Develop and maintain high value relationships within the Samsara sales team and partners
Achieve quarterly and annually sales and pipeline targets
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team)
Minimum requirements for the role:
4+ years of sales experience in a channel role with consistent, documented quota overachievement
Experience in building/running channel marketing campaigns
Experience with building and running sales training and enablement programs
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Referenceable experience building, executing and iterating on measurable engagements from the ground-up
An ideal candidate also has:
Experience within the Fleet Management space
Familiarity with the commercial fleet space
Experience within Enterprise SaaS sales
Fluency in French, German, or Dutch
