Website Sona

The real economy employs 3 billion people in frontline jobs, yet frontline teams are still left to choose between paper and Excel or decade-old workforce management solutions to take care of the most important part of their businesses – their people.

Enter Sona, the Frontline Operating System; an end-to-end platform to manage a shift-based workforce and empower its teams. Sona upgrades the functionality you expect from any workforce management software – including scheduling, time & attendance, HR, and Payroll – with industry-specific plugins, dedicated features to empower staff, and a consumer-grade experience that simplifies frontline work for everyone.

In just two years, we’ve already made a deep impact on the lives of tens of thousands of frontline workers and the operation of their organisations, grown the team to 50+, and secured the backing of Google’s AI fund – Gradient Ventures, SpeedInvest, Notion Capital and angels like Tom Blomfield (Monzo).

It’s a hugely exciting time to be joining the team, as we’re still small enough that you’ll have a significant impact on the company, growth trajectory and culture, but large enough that we have a great structure, experienced leaders and world-class benefits in place (such as being fully remote and flexible, and only working 4.5 days a week). About the Role

As our CRM Marketing Executive, you’ll be pivotal in enhancing our marketing strategies through meticulous data management and analysis. Working under the guidance of our marketing operations team, you’ll contribute to improving our marketing outreach and engagement by maintaining accurate prospect data, analysing market trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Your keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks will be crucial in this role. You’ll help ensure our marketing efforts are both effective and efficient, aligning closely with our strategic goals.

The position is offered as a three-month contract initially, with the potential for permanent employment beyond this.

Responsibilities

Day to day, you will be:

Updating contact details in our CRM to ensure the accuracy of prospect information, especially when changes occur in their professional roles or company affiliations.
Monitoring metrics such as email open rates, identifying trends, and suggesting actionable insights for improvement.
Maintaining updated records of key senior contacts across essential departments within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) companies, prioritising contacts who have shown engagement and interest.
Ensuring the highest level of data quality by proactively managing the CRM database to remove duplicates, correct formatting errors, and maintain an error-free environment.
Keeping track of the sales pipeline, identifying and notifying the team about deals that are not progressing due to inactivity.
Enriching prospect and contact profiles with comprehensive information, including demographic, firmographic, and psychographic data, to provide a holistic view of our targets.
Utilising data to generate and suggest content ideas that are likely to resonate with our target audience.
Conducting competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies employed by competitors, aiming to find areas for differentiation.
Developing an understanding of job titles and roles within various sectors, ensuring our marketing efforts are directed towards the most relevant prospects and avoiding those outside our ICP.

Requirements

We don’t have strict requirements but hopefully lots of the following apply to you:

A keen interest in marketing, data analysis, and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong skills with Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with CRM systems (experience with Hubspot is a big plus).
Capable of interpreting data and translating it into actionable marketing insights.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain high-quality standards.
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on improving data quality and marketing effectiveness.
Good communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and contribution to marketing strategies.

Benefits:

£30k per year (pro-rata)
4.5 day standard working week
Fully remote and flexible working
35 days annual leave (25 days standard plus 10 flexible public holiday days)
Pension contributions matched up to 5%

Diversity & Inclusivity:

Working at Sona

We take our health and mental health seriously, believing that we can only perform to our best when we are healthy, happy, and in control of when, where, and how we work. That's why we're fully remote and everyone works a 4.5 day week (you choose when you take the half day) with a fully flexible schedule.

We balance this with regular virtual stand-ups and all-hands so we're all aligned, and paid-for, in-person meet-ups so you can get to know your colleagues.
